The 'Biurakan' (also spelled as Byurakan) Star Cluster Catalog of 13 objects comes from a study of flare stars in OB associations and open star clusters made in 1989 by astronomers at the The Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory, in Armenia.
The amateur astronomer will find many 'Biurakan' objects listed on star atlases and observing guides.

While some of the 'Biurakan' objects are already listed under the Markarian catalog designation, the majority are unique objects, not listed in any other prior catalog. Over half of the Biurakan clusters can be found along the Winter Milky-Way in Monoceros.

Biurakan - 4

On the left side of the webpage is my personal observation list of the
'Biurakan' catalog of star clusters'.

I currently have all possible twelve objects visible from my Pittsburgh, PA latitude of around +40.
(#6 is missing from my list)

Hope you enjoyed the visit. Come again soon!
